Benno is annoyed by Sandra, who runs a café under his apartment and dreams of being discovered as a musician. One morning Benno finds sand in his bed and soon discovers that the sand is trickling out of him - and in ever-increasing quantities. A desperate race against time begins, in which he needs Sandra's help.
